Overview
Replacement housing or trim part for iPod Video 5G. Use it to restore fit, finish, color or visible damage rather than to fix an internal electronics fault. A front that lifts at the seam is usually not the faceplate: on this model an open seam is often bent metal tabs inside the back panel, and sometimes a swollen battery (look for pressure marks on the screen).

How do I choose the right white faceplate?
Use this listing for a stock-match white front panel on white A1136 iPod Video models. Black and U2 A1136 models share the physical fit, but this white faceplate is a custom color swap on those units.
Does this include the center button?
No. The center button cap is a separate part. Transfer the existing center button from the old faceplate, or order the cap separately — black, white or a custom color.
Will this fix charging, audio, storage, display, or control symptoms?
