    Each iPod comes in its original Apple case, where cosmetic wear varies from unit to unit. On the iPod Video 5th Gen and the iPod Classic 6th and 7th Gen you can choose a new aftermarket case in the colors you pick instead; the insides stay the tested Apple original.

    Keep the original hard drive, or choose flash storage: no moving parts, lower power draw and room for a big library.

    Every iPod carries our 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. Every iPod, custom builds included, can be returned within 30 days of delivery for any reason, complete and in its original packaging.

Does Apple still sell iPods?

No. Apple stopped making the iPods we sell years ago: the last one, the iPod Classic 7th Gen, was discontinued on September 9, 2014. They are still easy to buy here: old iPods, refurbished and tested by us, with a 1-year limited warranty.

Where can I buy an iPod today?

Right here. We sell refurbished iPods from the iPod 3rd Gen to the iPod Classic 7th Gen and both iPod Minis, from our shop in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. We ship within the United States only, and orders of $200 or more ship free.

How much does an iPod cost?

Refurbished iPods here start at $87.95. An iPod Mini starts at $133.95, an iPod Video 5th Gen at $196.95 and an iPod Classic at $231.95. The final price depends on the storage, the case and the battery you choose.

What is the cheapest iPod you sell?

If you want a cheap iPod that still comes with a full warranty, today the lowest price is the iPod 3rd Gen 15GB at $87.95. Whatever the price, every iPod here is refurbished and tested by us and has the same 1-year limited warranty. The iPod 3rd Gen charges only over FireWire: you need a dock-connector-to-FireWire cable and a FireWire power adapter or a powered FireWire port, as the builder's "You also need" line says.

Is a refurbished iPod the same as a used iPod?

Refurbished iPods are used Apple iPods, but each one here has been cleaned, fitted with a new battery and tested by us, and we cover it with a 1-year limited warranty. It keeps its original Apple case, and cosmetic wear varies from unit to unit. On the iPod Video 5th Gen and the iPod Classic 6th and 7th Gen you can choose a new case instead.

Which iPod Classic should I buy?

Most people looking for an iPod Classic for sale mean one of three: the iPod Video 5th Gen (2005 to 2007: 30GB, 60GB or 80GB, and it plays video), the iPod Classic 6th Gen (2007 to 2009: 80GB, 120GB or 160GB) or the iPod Classic 7th Gen (2009 to 2014: 160GB). Should I choose a hard drive or flash storage?

The original hard drive is the lower-priced choice. Flash storage replaces it with no moving parts, a lower power draw and room for a big library, and only flash builds can take the 2000mAh extended-life battery.

Can I build a custom iPod?

Yes. Use the builder at the top of this page. No iPod Classic sold today is brand new, since Apple stopped making them in 2014, but on the iPod Video 5th Gen and the iPod Classic 6th and 7th Gen you can choose a new aftermarket case in your own colors, flash storage and, with flash storage, the 2000mAh extended-life battery. The insides stay the tested Apple original iPod.
