Mail it in
Pack the iPod with the work order from your confirmation email, or choose the shipping box and prepaid label option when you add the repair. If it still plays, back up your music first. Send it to iMods, 1155 Wooley Road, Flemingsburg, KY 41041.
We fix it and ship it back
We fit the part, test the iPod and ship it back by USPS with a tracking number. Most repairs are finished within 3 to 5 business days after you approve the quote. The parts we repair or replace carry a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery.

Can the Apple Store fix my iPod?
Apple stopped making click-wheel iPods: the last one, the iPod Classic 7th Gen, was discontinued on September 9, 2014. We repair every click-wheel iPod from the 3rd Gen (2003) to the iPod Classic 7th Gen, and both iPod Minis, by mail. The parts we repair or replace carry our 1-year limited warranty.
How long does an iPod repair take?
Most iPod repairs are finished within 3 to 5 business days after you approve the quote. Your iPod ships back by USPS with a tracking number, which we email you. Allow a few days for shipping each way.
What if I don't know what's wrong with my iPod?
Send your broken iPod in for the free diagnostic. When your iPod arrives, we test it, perform analysis, and send you a free repair quote. If you don't like our price, we will ship your iPod back at our expense.
My iPod won't turn on or is frozen. What should I try first?
Charge it from a wall adapter for an hour, then reset it. A reset keeps your music and files; some settings may reset. Slide Hold on and off, then hold Menu and the center button until the Apple logo appears. On the iPod 1st, 2nd or 3rd Gen, hold Menu and Play/Pause. Locked, with a lock icon on the screen? Slide the Hold switch off and on; if the lock stays, the Hold switch needs repair. Still dead or stuck? Start with the free diagnostic.
Can you fix an iPod that got wet?
Don't charge it or switch it on. Send it in for the free diagnostic: we test it and send you a free repair quote before any work starts. Water can damage the battery and the board, and the quote tells you what yours needs.
